So close… November 10, 2006Posted by eric22222 in Dreams, General, Malaysia.
Last night, an unusual dream went through my mind:
Team Malaysia-Adamo had a free weekend, so we decided to head back to Kuala Lumpur for the weekend. I assume we got on a plane, though the entire twelve-hour trip went by in an instant. Upon arriving, we realized we had mistakenly arrived in Penang, far north of KL. After a long and arduous journey, we arrived at the door to Wangsa Maju Church of Christ. We headed for the door only to find it was locked. We had left the keys in Knoxville! (In actuality, we don’t still have any Malaysian keys, but for the dream’s sake, we do). We flew all the way back to Knoxville and searched all our rooms and luggage for the keys. Finally, we found them in a small, plastic container. Once again, we flew to Malaysia. We made it back to the church and made our way up the stairs. After a brief reminiscence period, we headed to the storage closet to put our luggage away. When we walked out, some mysterious man (who was not Doreen) was at the church. We weren’t quite sure who he was; in fact, he never occurred in the dream again. At long last, we made the walk across the street, each stride bringing us closer to lunch. Alas, before we arrived at Restoran Al Awwal Maju, my alarm entered into a fit of beeping, ripping me away from my roti canai.
I went to go wake Zach up. Knowing it would take him a while to get up, I went back to bed.
Instead of returning to Malaysia, I entered a biplane race with Donald Trump. I would’ve rather gone to lunch in KL, but when am I going to get another chance to race biplanes?
